Cover: Lifeline (2003 New Zealand release)
My first attempt at a YouTube drum cover! Nothing fancy...
As I move from my home electric drum kit to an acoustic kit, I have been practicing hi-hat pedal control & dynamics - there is quite a difference playing on the 'real' thing.. like, is the hit-hat supposed to sound that way when mid-open!???
Also, starting to play live with other musicians means I need to work on keeping count - especially during fills 😅😆
I'll probably record and post some other covers in future. If anything, so I can (hopefully) see my progress over time! Perhaps some alt, rock, pop, edm, gospel, ccm & worship stuff.
I really like Brooke Fraser's music (old & new)!!
